In 2021, Valentine U. made a strong debut with Tenderly, a jazz covers album recorded with Belgian legends Jean-Louis Rassinfosse and Charles Loos, and presented at Studio 104 in Flagey. She also appeared on Bernard L’hoir’s Noachis Terra (Home Records).

Today, Valentine is launching a new project in which she breaks free from genre boundaries, taking her jazz roots into a bold, pop-driven universe. Thanks for the Roses is Valentine U.’s first EP.

Valentine U is also a member of the a cappella group Just Vox and of the Brussels DJ collective Bonk, she has performed on many stages in Belgium and abroad, notably as a backing vocalist for Ben Mazué.
